Ohio State Fair!

A few weeks ago I went with a group of my marvelous friends to the Ohio State Fair =]

Our main purpose was to eat as much deep fried food as humanly possible (and I think we succeeded) BUT we got heavily sidetracked by roosters, and then ran out of time to eat the rest of the world.

Anyway! we saw the world's smallest ghetto woman (a very scary experience), watched a friend ride a bull for an insanely long time, prepared for the apocalypse with million dollar horses (pushed onto us by the breeders no less), and talked about turning into monsters on roof tops. It was a blast, and I can't wait to go again next year!

So here are some of the (very late) pictures from that very awesome day!

A sample list of just some of the deep fried goodies.

What a deep fried PB&J looks like!

Chocolate covered bacon (yuk yuk yuk) and deep fried Buckeyes (yum yum yum!)

Theresa and I gang gear up for our iron stomachs to wage war!
(I even brought Tums so that we could stay in the game longer! X_X)

Theresa and Byron being stupid cute during our last round of food buying. All in all we devoured:

-Deep fried Buckeyes
-Deep fried PB&Js
-Deep fried cheese on a stick
-Deep fried mashed potatoes (my favorite).
-Deep fried manicotti
-Deep fried ravioli
-And chocolate covered bacon.

There was a lot more that we wanted to try, but then THIS happened:

Noodles.
A lame footed (stealing of hearts) rooster who was being given away for being broken.

Oh, pony. Why couldn't YOU have been free to a good home?

Aw!

I had such a blast, made new and exciting friends, and am determined to go back next year and gain 15 extra pounds on deep fried food.
OMNOMNOMNOM.

Oh, and PS. How has THIS only existed recently? My child-self would have died...

(hamster balls in water with kids trapped inside ='s my kind of babysitting!)
